In Gujarat, history-winning BJP won 99 seats and occupy the 6th place!

Ahmedabad: BJP has secured history for the 6th time in Gujarat with a majority in Gujarat. The BJP has secured 99 seats in the total 182 constituencies.

In the case of Gujarat, it was the Congress party. From 1962 to 1980, there was a stiff resistance to Congress that was another faction of Congress.
After the BJP's rise in the 1980s, the hoisting of the Congress party began to fall. Though the Congress won the 1980 assembly election, the Janata Party won 21 seats and the BJP 9.

The reversal situation since 1985
The Janata Party and the BJP were the challenge of Congress in the elections of 1985. But after 1985, the situation turned upside down.

Congress fails
In the 1990 Assembly elections, the Congress suffered a historic fate in Gujarat. Janata Dal 70; The BJP won 67 seats; The Congress Party was able to win just 33 seats.

From then on, the BJP's era in Gujarat. In all its assembly elections in 1995, 1998, 2002, 2007 and 2012, the BJP won over 110 seats and maintained the Gujarat rule with a strong majority. The BJP was facing elections by the Modi-led Chief Minister from 2002 to 2012.

The hole in the BJP fortress
At the same time, the Congress party could not reach a maximum of 60 seats. In the current election, the party has also lost the hood.

6th time rule
The BJP has won 99 seats in this election. The Congress has gained 80 seats. The BJP has won more than 92 constituencies to set up the seat despite the lowest seats compared to the last elections. With this victory, BJP has secured history for the 6th time in Gujarat.
