About 80 percent of voters in Australia polled opinion polls on the right to vote for gay marriage in Australia. Of these, 62 percent supported gay marriage.
Following the debate in Australia, the vote was held. A total of 145 MPs in the 150 MPs voted in favor of the gay marriage, and the last eight were allowed to live in homosexuals.
Recently created law states that homosexuals should get married for a month prior to the date of the marriage and request permission from the state. So, Australia's first homosexual marriages will be held on January 9th,
